Brady Ellis Golf Academy

My name is Brady Ellis and I am a PGA Teaching Associate here at Iron Horse Golf Course. A little bit about me is that I grew up playing the Jr. NTPGA here in the DFW with some of the greatest players in the game today namely, Scottie Scheffler, Will Zalatoris, and Jordan Spieth. I also played for the Mansfield High School golf team and we won a state title my junior year. Following this I played on a division 1 scholarship to Stephen F. Austin University.  

Golf has been a passion of mine for most my life. I have been teaching and coaching for about 6 years and I began my teaching career at Walnut Creek Country Club.  I was at Walnut Creek until 2022. From 2022-2024 I taught at Trophy Club Country Club and eventually became a full-time Player Development Professional at the Club. I am also Trackman Level 2 certified and have logged hundreds of thousands of hours teaching and coaching golf. I also am on the path to becoming a PGA member.  My strengths are playing ability, and golf instruction with a niche for junior golf development, but I enjoy teaching all skill levels. Golf can be an intimidating sport and my goal is to create a relaxed learning environment where my students are granted the grace to adapt, make mistakes, and learn the necessary skills for them to become the best players they can become!
