Roger Salazar, Head Golf Professional
Roger Salazar brings a lifetime of competitive golf experience to Iron Horse Golf Course. A standout collegiate player at Texas Christian University, Roger went on to compete professionally for several years, including earning a victory on the Nike Tour, the developmental tour that is now known as the Korn Ferry Tour.
As Head Golf Professional at Iron Horse, Roger combines his high-level playing background with a passion for teaching golfers of all ages and skill levels. His instruction focuses on building a fundamentally sound golf swing, improving scoring through short-game development, and helping players better understand course management and practice habits.
Whether you’re picking up a club for the first time, working to break 80, or developing your junior golfer’s game, Roger tailors each lesson to the individual needs and goals of the student.
